GMC Handwara JR Posts Notification on Academic Arrangement – Apply Now
Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara has published new job advertisement for Junior Residents (JR) on an academic contract basis. This recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement Notice No. 09-JR (GMCH) of 2025, and applications are open to eligible only to candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir. MBBS graduate students who has completed their internship and holds a valid registration with the State Medical Council or NMC, are eligible for this. The initial appointment is for six months, with the possibility of extension up to one year based on performance during 6 months .

The registration process for these posts started on 10 June 2025, and the last date to apply is 20 June 2025 (till 4 PM). Eligibility Criteria and Required Documents
