NIT Srinagar Announces Junior Research Assistant Post – Apply Now
NIT Srinagar has published a job advertisement notification for Junior Research Assistant (JRA) to work on DST-JKST&IC funded project focusing on water purification technology. The position is temporary for seven months. The selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of ₹20,000 while contributing to research on “Water Purification Using 3D Printed Hydrogel Capsule Membrane.” Those candidates who are interested for these posts should apply online before June 16, 2025, through the Google Form link given in the official notification or at end .
Eligibility Criteria & Required Skills
To apply for these posts, candidates should have either:

B.Tech plus M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60% (CGPA ≥ 6.5) for General/OBC or 55% (CGPA ≥ 6.0) for SC/ST students.

OR B.Tech (4-years) degree with 75% (CGPA ≥ 8.0) for General/OBC or 70% (CGPA ≥ 7.5) for SC/ST, with a proper GATE score.
Preference will be given to those candidates who are skilled in 3D printing, biomaterials, bioprinting, or mechanical testing.

Selection Process
The selection of students will be based on academic merit and project suitability.
